The museum is rightfully considered an important cultural object and a component of the complex created at the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers. Recently, the museum underwent restoration, during which the entrance was repaired, and work was carried out related to the technical reconstruction of the exhibits.
The museum exhibits thirteen steam locomotives from different historical periods, eighteen diesel locomotives, three electric locomotives, various examples of carriages and repair equipment from the last century. Here you can find a museum carriage where everyone is welcome to learn about how railway mainlines were created in Uzbekistan. Also, here are displayed communication tools, railway worker uniforms, insignia, and many other exhibits from the time when railway arteries were just beginning to function in Uzbekistan.
Visitors to the museum complex can take a ride on a tour train, and during the journey, a museum employee will conduct an interesting introductory tour for them.
Moreover, the museum's distinctive feature is that various technical equipment is displayed on its territory: diesel locomotives, steam locomotives, and carriages of various types that have worked for a long time on railway lines, creating a strong transport potential and opening up broad opportunities for both Uzbekistan and Central Asia as a whole.
