Day 13 (Thu): Tashkent to Chimgan
09:00 - Post breakfast we head out to Chimgan Mountains (85 km or 1 hr 30 min). You will be driving the road lying in picturesque surroundings full of local villages, gardens, and streams.
10:30 - Our first stop will be in Chinorkent, located at the foot of the Chatkal ridge of the Tien Shan Mountains.
We shall take a gondola cable car Doppelmayr (Austria) up to the mountain, it will take us 12 minutes to reach 1236 meters above the sea level. The area amazes with its natural beauty and amazing mountain landscape. Enjoy fresh air.
Continue our mountain journey and our next stop will be at Hodjikent petroglyphs (were discovered in 1949-1950 by H. Alpysbaev). The petroglyphs were carved on the rock at the height of 12.5 m and a length of 18 m. All figures are located at the bottom of the cliff. Due to climatic conditions, some of the rock carvings have not survived.
Later move towards Chimgan Mountain and have a short stop enroute for photo shooting with beautiful view on Charvak Reservoir, later stop to see Small (2,097m) & Big Chimgan Mountains (3,309m).
16:00 - Return to Tashkent.
19:00 -Farewell dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.
